Washer and dryer – The washer and dryer are compact units with a very small capacity – roughly two pairs of pants. They are there if you find you need to wash some items during your stay, but please do not plan to do large volumes of laundry as they are easily overwhelmed! Dryer sheets are provided.
Hot tub and white cedar double rocker & picnic table on covered porch. Hot tubs are maintained with proper bromine levels. 104 degrees is highest possible temp on our hot tubs as dictated by federal consumer protection law in 1980. Hot tubs are cleaned, serviced, and tested when we prepare your cabin for you.
Shared phone at The Pumphouse for making free outgoing calls, so no ringing phone in your cabin to bother you! 828-622-9351. There will be a phone number prominently displayed in your cabin that you can call/text from your phone or call from the shared Pumphouse phone should you need assistance during your stay.
Most cell phones can get some service at the cabins, and can do texts (and emails too if you have it as an app on your phone/tablet.) The tower in Hot Springs is US Cellular, so AT&T and T-Mobile phones may not have service.
No bonfires, campfires, firepits, etc. allowed on the premises. The risk of a forest fire is too high.
No firearms of any kind are allowed to be discharged on the property.
Absolutely no smoking inside please! Ashtray for smoking outside on the porch only.
All roads leading to the cabins and town of Hot Springs (& our main driveway) are paved – but do expect curvy mountain roads! There are also gravel roads to explore if you wish – for example visiting Max Patch Bald.
We offer you the chance to UNPLUG and RECONNECT with each other!!!!
What Should You Bring?
Your Detailed Confirmation – We will email you with our address & driving directions, detailed check-in procedures, & complete payment details. Flea/tick protection for your pets. They may be exposed to more insects out in nature here than they normally encounter in their suburban life. The cabins themselves are designed without carpet or upholstery such that they cannot host such pests, but we have no control over the outdoors.

Please make a reservation with us if you would like to stay in a private rustic log cabin vacation rental in a rural wooded setting in the mountains. We do everything humanly possible to ensure that your cabin is clean with all advertised amenities in good working order for you. If a coffee pot or similar breaks, we usually have a replacement on hand – just let us know so that we may fix it for you. In 2017, we upgraded the cabin kitchens, baths, fireplaces, TV’s, & HVAC systems. In 2018, all five cabins got brand new hot tubs!
