Hound Heaven Cabin

We had an excellent time here for a "mini-moon" following our wedding! The cabin (we stayed in Pine) was well maintained and provided all of the amenities we needed. The hot tub and electric fireplaces were fan favorites! Secluded, peaceful location, and we appreciated the binder with local things to do. Will be recommending for anyone looking for a mountain getaway!

Updated review 2025: Celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary here. The cabin was great. The detailed instructions make it easy to check in (or troubleshoot traveling when GPS takes you the wrong way). The cabin now has wifi and also has updated ways to be able to watch movies/shows. However, I did enjoy just relaxing with my spouse in the very clean hot tub. From 2020: Spent my honeymoon here for 3 days and had a wonderful experience. I stayed at The Oak and loved the personalized touches of the cabin along with all the amenities, such as a hot tub, fireplace and stocked kitchen. This place does not have wifi or cell service so is a nice getaway from work or outside obligations so you and your partner can focus on each other. Hot Springs has many hiking opportunities and the cabin has a detailed book of local things to do. Be aware that the main attractions are the views, hiking and taking it slow.

This is our favorite vacation getaway spot when we need a break from the demands of life and want to unwind. We're blessed to only be a 3 hour drive away, but it would be well worth a longer trip! We've stayed here twice now and surely will be back again sometime in the future. The cabins are great - everything you could hope for on a romantic getaway. Very cozy and homey, and also very clean. They even have some pet-friendly cabins. You can't beat the views! Not to mention, the seclusion of the cabins offers fantastic privacy. Easy self check in/out means you can truly unplug and unwind - no other human interaction necessary. At the same time, you will receive a quick response if you reach out with any questions or needs. The prices are also so reasonable compared to most hotels or AirBnBs. I feel like you pay less and get more here. Highly recommend!

We reserved Paw Print cabin for our anniversary. We were able to bring our four legs for baby as well. The cabin is charming and quaint, secluded but convenient to local amenities about 15 minutes drive to town. King size bed with private hot tub on the deck. Fenced in yours for our pup to roam. There is everything other than groceries that you need is provided. The views around this cabin are breathtaking.

The cabin was just perfect we enjoyed our stay very much.The inside was clean and had plenty of supplies. It is very private be prepared for the curvy mountain roads. Hot tube was great. Thanks for the stay it was just what we needed.

Was really pleased staying at the cabin. Very clean and inviting. Stayed here to use the WiFi to get into class, but found it to be really nice place to stay and a place to go back to. I think I may go trout fishing in Spring Creek next visit. Really enjoyed my stay. I would bring extra food with me. Watch out the ride up here is pretty serpentine on 209. But really clean great place to stay away from home.

HSLC provided the perfect retreat that my husband and I were in need of. Beautiful natural scenery and sounds. Clean cabin away from it all!
