Hound Heaven Cabin

The Hound Heaven is our premier cabin with a newly redesigned interior with tons of upgrades such as a new california king bed, new furniture, WIFI, and an updated, yet still rustic, log cabin design.

The Hound Heaven sits at the upper edge of the open meadow with a stunning year-round view of Bluff Mountain in front of you, layered mountains to the side, & a picturesque chapel below – and of course a hot tub!

We have taken great care when situating The Hound Heaven Cabin to enjoy the incredible views, yet still be a private and romantic retreat for couples. Pets and their humans will love the mountain meadow of tall grasses, wildflowers, birds, butterflies, & often deer & turkey!

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. We were in Hound Heaven which is right off of the mowed meadow. Our dog was able to exercise in the meadow. There are mountains around the cabin that provide nice greenery and views. The cabins are situated in the woods and there is abundant access to hiking and nature around the area. Overall, the property was quiet and well maintained.

Had an absolute awesome stay at Hot Springs Cabins. It was very clean , quiet and with in a few minutes from town which is a very pleasant town to visit. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great mountain getaway.

What a great cabin for couples. We stayed at the Oak cabin and loved the privacy and quietness of the mountains. We saw turkey and deer in the field. Hiking Max Patch is highly recommended. Be aware of surroundings though, we did see a black bear in the trail ahead of us. He was just as afraid of us as we were of him.

Finding dog-friendly lodging isn't always easy, especially in popular tourist destinations. This makes Hot Springs Log Cabins a great discovery for those of us who travel with our four-legged friends. Most of the cabins are outfitted for humans and their dogs, including dog bowls, waste bags, toys and blankets for the couch (if they insist on sleeping there!). A fenced front and back porch allows your guys to relax outdoors safely. And each cabin features a hot tub for the two-legged folks, which is a nice added touch.The setting is gorgeous, with a meadow where the dogs are welcome to romp. Located about 15 minutes from Hot Springs and 25 minutes from Trust, NC, quiet and, thanks to a clever layout, privacy reign. Both pups and their people will appreciate Hot Springs Log Cabins.

Always an incredible stay at the Oak! Love having the opportunity to get away from the busyness of life and get quiet. We stopped for groceries this time and never left the cabin once we arrived. Loved watching the fireflies at night and even saw a doe and her fawn grazing in the field. Can’t wait to go back.
